Sheep QuikFence® 6/35/24
A prefabricated fence that has 6 conductive, horizontal strands, is 35" tall installed and has a vertical string every 24". White PVC posts are built into the mesh every 12.5".
The result, when properly energized, is a nearly impenetrable mesh to sheep, goats, coyotes and dogs.
Its very low electrical resistance (37 ohms per 1000') is important for fences that are either long or will experience high weed contact.
Lowest strand is energized and suspended 7" above the ground (instead of neutral and resting on the soil). This reduces the need to spray weeds—and weeds that do contact it are less able to drain away electricity (because it is further to the soil).
Common Uses
- To graze orchards and vineyards.
- To subdivide pastures for a whole season in lieu of moving netting.
- To protect outdoor hay supplies.
- To graze stockpiled forage on hayfields/pastures in late fall and early winter.
- As an interim permanent fence until a proper fence can be built.
For fences that will be moved often, consider ElectroNet® or ElectroStop® instead.
Available with positive/negative (Pos/Neg) capability for high resistance fencing conditions.

* Pos/Neg (PN) fences are recommended where the soil is very dry and/or the animals do not ground well. Two clips are used at each end. One is hooked to the energizer, the second should be connected to a ground rod.
Installation
Tip: When using Pos/Neg fencing, a PowerLink (see Accessories above) is recommended to attach the negative lead to the ground rod.
See PDFs and videos above for additional installation instructions.
Precautions
Warning! Due to risk of fire, do NOT use continuous output energizers with electric netting or electro-plastic conductors such as rope, twine or tape. Use only with a low or wide impedance intermittent pulse energizer. (Fi-Shock™ brand energizers which are sold as low impedance, continuous current output should NOT be used with electric netting.) All energizers sold on Premier’s website use an intermittent pulse and are suitable for use with electric netting.
Dry conditions and wintertime usage may reduce the effectiveness of electric fencing. Ice and heavy snow can flatten netting and thereby damage it.
Dry or frozen ground may cause post spikes to bend or break if inserted with force. Pilot holes may be needed. We recommend using drivable or single spike posts in hard soils. Double spike posts provide more stability when the ground is soft.

I love their goat fencing but I hate their sheep quickfencing because it has heavier poles, double-stakes that get tangled and netting that has no plastic verticle strands between the poles which really help to keep the middle of the fencing up AND most importantly the plastic vertical strands help to keep the netting from curling when breaking the fence down which just causes knotting upon trying to set it back up. I highly recommend their goat fencing though!

Bren represented herself and Premier very well. She listens asks pertinent questions answers your questions thoughtfully, and provides excellent recomendations. She should be considered an exceptional employee.
We are enjoying your product and will likely purchase more given our overall high quality experience.

I have a flock of nearly 50 white dorper sheep and most of the fences on our farm were either shot or for beef cattle. I purchased this hoping for an easy and quick fence for my sheep for until we can get a good netting fence put in. I most definitly got what I ordered. The QuikFence works better as a rotational fence within a boundary, while I'm using the Electronet as a boundary fence since its taller and comes down to the ground more securely. Time and the summer growing season will tell how much I like the routine management of them. (I've got nearly a decade of learning with different types of electric fence systems for cattle and horses and know first hand that some take a heck of a lot more maintenence than they're worth.)
I'm optimistic about these though, they're well made, sturdy, and may prove them selves to be an integral part of our rotational system within the permanent boundary instead of permanent fences dividing all the paddocks.

I love all of the electro net I have purchased from Premier! I'm still using 3 roll that are 13 years old, when I bought them they advertised them as having a 3-5 year lifespan! The only problems I have had with them were all "operator error". Thanks for a great product!

I bought 3 sections 100ft each of QuickFence to keep my sheep eating around the house. The first day the sheep were introduced to the fence it was total disaster. When shocked rather than jumping backwards they would jump forward taking the fence with them every time. I was really disappointed with my investment. I thought I wasted my money purchasing it. But I did not give up. The fence was tough enough to take all that punishment so I figure there was some hope. for my investment. I figured that over time they would learn to respect the fence. Hence I didn't give up. More exposure was necessary. To make a long story short by the third day my sheep had learned to stay clear off the fence. I am still not totally comfortable letting the sheep graze alone when I am not around the house since I live near a busy highway but comfortable enough to let them when nearby where I can check on them from time to time. Now I am free to do chores in the yard and the house. I am even thinking of buying two more sections. The animals need time to learn to respect the fence. I recommend this fence with the above limitations.
