Love these clips used with the 3/8" step-in posts. Positions wires wherever you need them. Put on as many as you need. Plus, when the clips break on the old farm store posts you had to replace the $2.50 post. Now just replace a 25¢ clip.

They aren’t hard to get on once you get the hang of it and I like them with polywire, but they don’t do as well with tape. On a really windy day I have had the tape blow out of the clips... it helps if you rotate them about 45 degrees. Other than that I would give them 5 stars.

I have used the white plastic stirrup posts with the hooks in place. I gave that extensive kit with lots of posts and 4 reels of IntelliWire to North Carolina Therapeutic Riding Center to separate parts of their herd. Meanwhile, we now need to separate our horses from flooding in their paddock. To save money, I thought I would try the FiberTuff Posts with the harp clips—putting the IntelliWire where I want it. I cannot say enough good things about Premier 1, about their harp clips and this system. I put it up in two hours last Sunday. 160 feet across the paddock, 20 posts—OK, it took me about an hour to put the clips on, sitting on the floor, comparing them to each other. I did not need the tool to snap them on. They fit snuggly, but you can push them hard up and down. And when I put one on upside down, I got it off with a screwdriver. They do stay in place outside, and they look great—all back and white.
