Square Bucket without lid, 4 gallon
Square, 4 gallon bucket with plenty of uses for the farm. We add bucket teat units to them for feeding large groups of orphan lambs, goat kids or calves.
We also use these for hauling dog food on ATVs, carrying feed, mineral and water to lambs, goat kids and chickens. Can also be used with our spiral poultry feeder.
Cover the bucket with an EzeLid (sold separately).
Note: Order buckets with drilled hole(s), if you want to use with bucket teat units or spiral poultry feeders.

How to Use
Tips
For young goat kids and lambs, use natural latex teats. As the animals get older (about 15 days old) change to rubber teats as they will not be able to chew through them as easily. For calves use a calf teat.
How high should Bucket Teat Units be placed? Not much higher than a mother's own teat (which is usually low). When a nursing ruminant newborn stretches out its neck, the esophagus forms a groove to carry the milk into the fourth stomach. If it doesn't, the milk falls into the first stomach (intended for grass/hay) instead of the fourth. This causes the first stomach to enlarge and form a potbelly. Place the bucket so the teat is as low as the teats on your ewes.

Love this bucket. Have been handing feeding rejected or orphan kids, but now after showing them how the bucket works they take to it easy. Frees up my time . Love this wish I would have purchased one or two sooner. Highly recomend!!!

After struggling with a more oval feeder bucket which leaked endlessly, I decided to go with Premier. Love it absolutely. It's easy for people and lambs (after a day or two of training)to use. Yes, as others have said, it can be difficult to secure from butting lambs but every situation is different. The wrench makes it easy to tighten and remove the teat units.
I will definitely recommend this product.

This is probably the single best item I purchased this year. It is easy to clean, easy to fill, and if you freeze gallon jugs of water and change them twice a day for freshness, your kids can be fed ad-lib, avoiding overeating.
I love this product!

very handy, just dump the milk in and your done. afeter, of course training them to use it. the first lamb pretty much taught the others so even training was not difficult. the lid is a little difficult to remove, other than that a great product.

Well made, lid stays on tightly, HDPE food grade. Lambs will butt the bucket when feeding, so take that into consideration when deciding how you want to hang it.
