A professional crook that is also popular as a decorative (and useful) gift. Introduced 20 years ago to USA by Premier.
Don't leave out in the rain/humidity—the moisture will allow the neck to gradually open.

A bit disappointed as the it was a solid color and did not have the lighter color shown in the picture; it does handle small lambs but is not built for working full grown sheep or even full grown goats. I would not recommend this for working with animals but it would make a nice display piece.

Perfect house-warming gift for friends who are building a small house they are calling “The Sheep Cottage”. The craftsmanship, aesthetic and function of this crook is all we had hoped for.

Works great on our lambs and product is as expected. Arrived quickly, no problems!

Not a true shepherd's crook, curve of the handle is too small to be effective catching sheep. Works alright at directing my dogs.

i am a collector of walking sticks and staves, which is convenient seeing as i'm an avid hiker. two years ago i purchased a vintage shepherd's crook from the middle of england, which turns out is exactly the stick described here (mine is 60 inches tall though) - and i love this stick so much that it accompanied me to algonquin park last year for a 7-day trip. today, casting about for a nice birthday present for a friend of mine who lives in calgary, i remembered that she doesn't have a hiking stick. guess what i purchased for her? :D
