Swiss Bell
Product Details
This traditional, Swiss-style bell is made of solid brass and is hand cast in the pattern of the famous 1878 Saignélegier Chiantel Fondeur design. It produces a bright sound that's pleasant to the ear.
Bells have been used for centuries to track and herd sheep, goats and cattle in the timber, brush, large pastures or open range. Attach the bell to the neck of sheep and goats using a bell collar.

These bells have the sweetest sound, it's like hearing Christmas bells all year long. We are using them to help the guardian dogs keep track of the ewes and hopefully help keep the coyotes at bay.

Beautiful, heavy bells - Love these and will order more! I have looked everywhere for these bells. So glad I found this website.

Nothing wrong with the bell, it is a nice solid bell. However, I found the tone to be high and piercing. After two days, the sound was annoying, I removed the bell from the ewe. If the sheep did not come close into the barnyard regularly I would have left the bell on. When in tall grass you definitely know where they are.
Just beware of the tone when you purchase.

This bell is lighter and smaller than the gun metal one. I have this on my younger does and on my mini goats. The gun metal ones have an advantage though because I was able to have my address and phone number on it in easy to see size. But I still love this one too. I know where my goats are no matter if I can see them or not.
