This is the worst waterer, there's no way to clean it. The bottom of my base broke the first year. I tried to glue it back so the water wouldn't leak, this worked for awhile but the tube that the water comes out there is no way for that not to freeze in the winter. I came back to buy my favorite waterer the Kubic Waterer and I see you don’t have it anymore. What a waste… that waterer was great! Glad I still have one. I’m very disappointed all the way around.

This is a great waterer! I know some people have issues with it draining, but just understand the concept of how this waterer works. Make sure it’s level, like any other waterer. Turn off the valve on the bottom. Fill the reservoir, then before you open the valve back up, screw the top on it. THEN open the valve on the bottom. It will come out, maybe even start going over the edge, but just let the vacuum take hold of the water in the tank. Then it will stop filling. I’m so glad to not have to change the chicken water so often.

Well made.

Very well made chicken waterer. We bought 1 these for in the chicken house 4 or 5 weeks ago to trial… We have now ordered 2 more because they work so well. The close valve is well designed. If it leaks it’s probably due to human error!

I read review after review. I was leery on purchasing because of all the people complaining... There is a tiny valve you just twist underneath that allows the water to flow out or slowly trickle out keeping it a steady flow. Upon setup it was not twisted, so yes water seeped out, but after twisting it a slight notch not a single drop was to be spilled. I would 100% recommend this waterer. I hate cleaning the tiny ones.
