This tool is so poorly made it is barely worth it, but necessary. The first 2 I had the shaft snapped off after about 8 uses. Premier 1 replaced them and acknowledged their poor quality. The new ones arrived and I welded the shaft again to make it more robust. This time it held but the shaft “twisted” into a spiral after about 10 uses. The thing really is garbage but makes driving these great clips so much easier. Just be sure to buy 2 or 3 so you don’t get stuck in the middle of fencing without one.

Breaks after about 5 uses at the base. The hex shaft is not a standard quick adapt for most impact drivers, will work but soft and slightly wrong size so can get jammed in collar from slipping. Will order one more and try to augment weld before use, or epoxy the whole thing, or something…

Worked great on the install. No problems.

They work well, BUT you’ll likely split one if you use it without predrilled wood posts. They break where the shaft meets the head. I always order 2–3 at a time. Maybe I will weld them back together. I have about 6 broken bits.

Good idea, but it breaks at the base. Not a bad weld, but weak material for the stem. We’ve managed to re-weld most of ours, and it is a pain, but seems to work. Just be careful re-welding galvanized steel.
