New! Built for livestock producers tired of flimsy clips and unreliable hardware, the Utilizer Stand-Off Bracket provides a strong, dependable way to mount fiberglass or steel offsets.
Benefits:
- Mount almost anywhere — Attaches to either side of T-posts, secures to wood posts, round pipe (up to 2" diameter), cattle panels or even trees
- Create the offset you need — Use a 15" offset for single-side protection or a 30" offset to run hot wires on both sides of a fence (kits available)
- Keep livestock off the fence — Offset wires discourage animals from pushing, rubbing, or leaning on the main fence—helping prevent loose posts, pulled staples and broken wire
When properly installed, offset wires train livestock to respect the boundary while protecting the main fence.
Common Uses
- Protect existing fences — Add electric deterrence to non-electric fences without rebuilding
- Improve predator protection — Help stop predators from climbing or squeezing through fences
- Control pressure points — Install offsets near gates, corners, or feeding areas where livestock tend to crowd
- Run wires on both sides of a fence — Longer offsets support hot wires on both sides of the fence line
- Vertical offset mounting — Add hot wires above fences or stack multiple electric wires on a single bracket (e.g., prevent horses from leaning)
- Irregular fence lines — Mount offsets to trees, gates, or chain-link fence where standard insulators won’t work

Common Questions
- What types of posts can I attach to?
- T-posts — Fits both 1.25# and 1.33# sizes, regardless of which direction the post faces
- Pipe — Works on pipe up to 2" diameter, vertical or horizontal (including most chain-link posts); for pipe over 2" diameter, brackets can be welded or attached with self-drilling screws
- Wood, vinyl or trees — Easily attach using wood screws
- Can it be used with wire cattle panels?
- Yes. Works well with wire cattle panels of all sizes and can be bolted directly to the panel. It can also be attached to chain-link fencing.
- What types of electric fence wire can I use?
- Compatible with all sizes of low-tension conductors and high-tensile wire.
- What is the recommended spacing between brackets?
- Spacing depends on wire type and terrain. Typically 30'–40' between brackets.

A far superior standoff bracket. Very easy to install, and for the price of one bracket I am able to run multiple strands on some, well, let's just say questionable barbed wire perimeter fence. Highly recommend these if you are renting ground with less than ideal fences or if you are running sheep or goats and do not want to spend the money on woven wire perimeter fence!
