Best purchase ever for my 9 big wethers (various breeds-rescues). One fights so hard I have had to hire someone to do hooves with me. This purchase was to allow me to do all the hooves myself, which would pay itself off in a few months. So.... It worked!! I left the stand in the stall a few days and they all got used to it. Yesterday I got my scaredy goat up there with a peanut and it was easy to lock his head in by wrapping the chain behind the neck. I could not lock his nose in, but it held perfect from behind with enough room to breath and even look at me a little. He was calmer and couldnt kick as much with his head up. The side rails go on and off easy, which made it easier w my other goats, but I left both on for him and what a relief. I won't dread the monthly hoof trimming (feet grow fast here on our pastures). So worthwhile. Well made, very easy to use and assemble and move.

This (ramp attachment) was easy to install on our stand. The ease of getting goats on & off now is so much better. Very sturdy. We love this addition.

I like that it has plenty of length for height adjustment but the 2 side pegs to hold the halter chain are too short, allowing the chain to come off or loosen when my sheep shakes her head side to side. I used an extra clip to tighten the end link underneath and back around to keep her head in place but other stands I've used had better side pegs to hold the chain in place/tight. Overall, a good value.
