ElectroStop® 10/42/12 (w/ drivable posts)
Product Details
This electric fence is used to keep sheep, goats, guard dogs in while keeping out stray dogs and coyotes. Also used to keep bear away from bee hives. Suitable for cattle.
Same mesh as ElectroStop 10/42/12 but this net has drivable posts (.75" dia.) are much stronger and stiffer than standard line posts and can be pounded in with a dead-blow hammer or mallet. Fence installs easily in hard/frozen soils as well as soft soils. Pushing in posts is no longer necessary.
Each roll is a complete fence with the drivable posts already built into the mesh/fence. One roll (100 ft) weighs only 19 lbs. You will need a fence energizer to electrify the net.
Which ElectroStop® is right for you?
We offer many fences to fit your situation, including multiple lengths with different post spacings, drivable line posts and positive/negative options for dry soils. Visit this link to compare all ElectroStop options.Common Uses
For small breeds such as Pygmy or Nigerian Dwarf goats use PoultryNet style netting. The tighter spacings are a better deterrent to these species than the wider spaced ElectroStop.
Available with positive/negative (Pos/Neg) capability for high resistance fencing conditions.

* Pos/Neg (PN) fences are recommended where the soil is very dry and/or the animals do not ground well. Two clips are used at each end. One is hooked to the energizer, the second should be connected to a ground rod.
Benefits
Who needs Drivable Posts?
- Those who find it too difficult to push single spikes or step double spikes into the ground.
- Those who install net into: Hard soils in summer, frozen soils and rocky soils.
Very easy to move. Secure for adults, lambs and kids. Extra height is better for large and/or flighty animals. Visible for animals against all back grounds. End posts act as built in gates. Multiple nets hook to each other quickly via a clip on each end. Double spike posts are more stable in soft soils. Plastic strut verticals are more rigid than string verticals. Nets with vertical struts bunch less than string verticals when the net is being rolled up or unrolled.
Installation
Tip: When using Pos/Neg fencing, a PowerLink (see Accessories above) is recommended to attach the negative lead to the ground rod.
See PDFs and videos above for additional installation instructions.
Precautions
Warning! Due to risk of fire, do NOT use continuous output energizers with electric netting or electro-plastic conductors such as rope, twine or tape. Use only with a low or wide impedance intermittent pulse energizer. (Fi-Shock™ brand energizers which are sold as low impedance, continuous current output should NOT be used with electric netting.) All energizers sold on Premier’s website use an intermittent pulse and are suitable for use with electric netting.
Dry conditions and wintertime usage may reduce the effectiveness of electric fencing. Ice and heavy snow can flatten netting and thereby damage it.
Dry or frozen ground may cause post spikes to bend or break if inserted with force. Pilot holes may be needed. We recommend using drivable or single spike posts in hard soils. Double spike posts provide more stability when the ground is soft.

I bought this fencing for goats. It’s very easy to set up and move. Works best to pull the poles lay them down and then gather them one at a time keeping them even.
I would not hesitate to buy again.

If you value a fence that is straight and upright, the driveable posts are well worth the additional cost in my opinion. The standard posts are just too flexible to do a good job of holding the fence upright and stable. I think it might be useful to just call the posts heavy duty, and the standard posts, light duty. The fact that you can drive them with a hammer may or may not be important. I would use these regardless of soil type because of their strength and stiffness.
We found that the 100' length is much more practical for us than 164', both for the math and the handling.
I might add that Premier does a very good job of explaining the different types of fence on their website. It really helped to sort out the advantages and disadvantages of each type.

Great fencing, and love the drivable posts. The only thing is, the posts don't work well when it is very wet; the double posts might be better for that. In dry ground you can't beat these however. The height, 100' ft length and netting is really good, easy to see, fairly lightweight... i'd like some shorter lengths for smaller spaces and lanes, etc--maybe 50'ft lengths as options to add on.
We have a very 'goaty' breed of sheep who jump everything, are houdinis and very smart and interactive, and we therefore need this higher fence height--which works great. no-one even tests it, including rams!
