ElectroStop® Plus 10/42/12 Electric Netting
Product Details
A portable electric fence designed to contain and control the movement of meat and dairy goats, flighty breeds of sheep or to enclose rams and buck goats. Often used in managed grazing systems or to protect beehives from livestock and bears.
Features 10 horizontal strands (9 conductive), is 42" tall installed and has white plastic vertical struts every 12". For more support in uneven terrain, “Plus” nets include additional line posts spaced every 6'8" (vs. 12.5' for standard 42" ElectroStop®). The result, when properly energized, is a nearly impenetrable mesh to sheep, goats, coyotes and dogs.

Benefits
Each roll is a complete fence and can be quickly installed in less than 10 minutes. One roll (100 ft) weighs only 15 lbs. You will need a fence energizer to electrify the net.
Common Uses
For small breeds such as Pygmy or Nigerian Dwarf goats use PoultryNet style netting. The tighter spacings are a better deterrent to these species than the wider spaced ElectroStop.

Precautions
Warning! Due to risk of fire, do NOT use continuous output energizers with electric netting or electro-plastic conductors such as rope, twine or tape. Use only with a low or wide impedance intermittent pulse energizer. (Fi-Shock™ brand energizers which are sold as low impedance, continuous current output should NOT be used with electric netting.) All energizers sold on Premier’s website use an intermittent pulse and are suitable for use with electric netting.
Dry conditions and wintertime usage may reduce the effectiveness of electric fencing. Ice and heavy snow can flatten netting and thereby damage it.
Dry or frozen ground may cause post spikes to bend or break if inserted with force. Pilot holes may be needed. We recommend using drivable or single spike posts in hard soils. Double spike posts provide more stability when the ground is soft.

Fencing appears to be well-made. Takes a bit longer to set up and move than I thought, especially if the ground is hard. That being said, our goats quickly learned to respect it and have had no escapes. Our initial purchase was the starter kit w/ 1 extra roll; once it proved to work we immediately ordered 3 more - the max recommended for the solar charger.

Electrostop Plus is working GREAT for our stock. We mainly use it for sheep and goats, but also sometimes for horses and cattle. Make sure you break your animals to it before leaving them alone, but once they know it will shock them, we've had absolutely no trouble with them getting out. It keeps our dogs right with the stock as opposed to traditional hot fences that they can get under.

I love this fence. We have 20 acres of overgrown land and have been using it to clear it. Due to the cover I need to clear it take me about an hour to set up, but once it's done my 16 goats have plenty to browse for a couple days. There's no better way I have found to do this work. I just ordered another 100' section to add to my inintial 200' purchase, which will double the area I can cover at one setting. Very pleased.
