ElectroStop® Plus 10/42/12 Electric Netting
Product Details
A portable electric fence designed to contain and control the movement of meat and dairy goats, flighty breeds of sheep or to enclose rams and buck goats. Often used in managed grazing systems or to protect beehives from livestock and bears.
Features 10 horizontal strands (9 conductive), is 42" tall installed and has white plastic vertical struts every 12". For more support in uneven terrain, “Plus” nets include additional line posts spaced every 6'8" (vs. 12.5' for standard 42" ElectroStop®). The result, when properly energized, is a nearly impenetrable mesh to sheep, goats, coyotes and dogs.

Benefits
Each roll is a complete fence and can be quickly installed in less than 10 minutes. One roll (100 ft) weighs only 15 lbs. You will need a fence energizer to electrify the net.
Common Uses
For small breeds such as Pygmy or Nigerian Dwarf goats use PoultryNet style netting. The tighter spacings are a better deterrent to these species than the wider spaced ElectroStop.

Precautions
Warning! Due to risk of fire, do NOT use continuous output energizers with electric netting or electro-plastic conductors such as rope, twine or tape. Use only with a low or wide impedance intermittent pulse energizer. (Fi-Shock™ brand energizers which are sold as low impedance, continuous current output should NOT be used with electric netting.) All energizers sold on Premier’s website use an intermittent pulse and are suitable for use with electric netting.
Dry conditions and wintertime usage may reduce the effectiveness of electric fencing. Ice and heavy snow can flatten netting and thereby damage it.
Dry or frozen ground may cause post spikes to bend or break if inserted with force. Pilot holes may be needed. We recommend using drivable or single spike posts in hard soils. Double spike posts provide more stability when the ground is soft.

The fencing looks great. I'm more secure my mini mules & donkeys wont get out, & more importantly, that nothing will come thru it to injure them. I will say, I could not have done it myself. A cousin who has several enclosures already put this up for me.

We love the Fence a lot! We got three 100' rolls in the spring2018 to start our Sheep pasture and were impressed about how easy I (woman) can move them even by myself. You do need to weed wack along the fence line though, so that nothing will touch the electric parts of fence to have a good POWER in the panels. And we have bad/hard rocky soil parts of our property and there we need a big hammer to help to hammer posts all the way in. Some of the dopple spikes did bend because of the rocks, but mostly I bend them back.
We had one "incident" ....electricity not on.....sheep got caught in panel trying to eat gras on other side.....ripped out 5 posts and tangled fence.....
NOTHING brocke.....I could untangle it all handset back up!!!!

Sturdy...glad I got the double spiked ones...easier to sink into ground using just my foot. Made for adult sized goats/sheep. My baby goat slips through the openings in netting. May consider getting more poultry netting for babies area

I have around 500 feet of this in use with a solar energizer. As long as you can keep this fencing clear of weeds/shrubs AND keep it stretched tight then you are golden. I made the mistake a few times of not properly clearing the fence line first and not keeping the fence tight. The goats would bolt through it.
Now when I am running the fence I set it up just like I did when I was installing permanent perimeter fencing. I use a string to make a nice straight line, clear the path and use that line to help me create as straight of a fence line as possible. It looks nicer and it does the job better. The goats, the two LGDs and the one goofball dog all stay contained. They all tested it once and have not bothered trying again.
I have moved the fence several times and the components hold up fine. I use the Plus fencing with vertical stays every 8 feet. Because of the bumpy wooded terrain that works better for me.
It took me about 1-2 hours to run 400 feet of this. That includes prep time for clearing the line and un-packaging the fencing. It took me weeks to run 400 feet of woven wire (and ya cant move that). I highly recommend this product.
