HogNet® 10/24/12 (also known as) HogBloc 10/24/12
Specifically designed (if properly energized) to deter feral hogs from fields, gardens, lawns and yards. The large amount of strands in a 24" fence increases visibility in brushy locations. Good for areas with high hog pressure. Can also contain domestic pigs.
Can be set up as Pos/Neg (for dry, rocky, sandy or winter soil conditions) or Pos/Pos for (moist conditions).
New to electric fence? Premier’s Starter Kits may be a good choice. They include netting, extra support posts, a solar fence energizer, ground stake and a digital tester.
Which HogNet® is right for you?We offer many fences to fit your situation, including multiple lengths with different post spacings, drivable line posts and positive/negative options for dry soils. Visit this link to compare all HogNet options.
Pos/Neg Fences are for dry, sandy or rocky conditions. Ideal for situations when there is too little moisture in the soil to properly ground the fence.

- #208066 - $1.29 per ft (100' roll with single spike posts)
- #208065 - $1.80 per ft (50' roll with single spike posts)
Tip: When using Pos/Neg fencing, a PowerLink (see Accessories above) is recommended to attach the negative lead to the ground rod.
For dry areas install as a Pos/Neg fence. Connect the energizer fence lead to the positive "+" net clip and energizer ground lead to the ground rod. Then connect a PowerLink from the negative "-" net clip to the ground rod.
For moist conditions connect both net clips together and attach energizer fence lead to net clips then attach energizer ground lead to ground rod.
See PDFs and videos above for additional installation instructions.
Warning! Due to risk of fire, do NOT use continuous output energizers with electric netting or electro-plastic conductors such as rope, twine or tape. Use only with a low or wide impedance intermittent pulse energizer. (Fi-Shock™ brand energizers which are sold as low impedance, continuous current output should NOT be used with electric netting.) All energizers sold on Premier’s website use an intermittent pulse and are suitable for use with electric netting.
Dry conditions and wintertime usage may reduce the effectiveness of electric fencing. Ice and heavy snow can flatten netting and thereby damage it.
Dry or frozen ground may cause post spikes to bend or break if inserted with force. Pilot holes may be needed. We recommend using drivable or single spike posts in hard soils. Double spike posts provide more stability when the ground is soft.
Listed below are recommended optional components. Your particular situation may require alternative recommendations. Please call and talk to our fence consultants if there are any questions at 800-282-6631.

Added this to my initial starter kit order. Came in handy when moving hogs into a new paddock. Love the fence and it’s the right height for me to hop over without turning off—just waiting to get zapped. Such a versatile fence with shapes and sizes and the ease of access from any area nice option. Looking forward to adding more sections as well as more FiberTuff posts. Never have enough of those.

I live in the upper peninsula of Michigan, and I was skeptical about this type of fencing. I’ve seen a lot of people on YouTube use them and I figured I’d try it out with my American guinea hogs. And it has worked awesome so far, we will see how it holds up through our winter or if I have to take it down. But so far I haven’t had any pigs escape and it seems to be holding up very well.

The fencing works great. I love that the bottom strand is not electrified, so we can let the grass get a little longer around the area.

LOVE this electric net for my pigs. Easy to put up by myself. Easy to step over. When the weather gets hot and dry in summer, I can hook it up as a pos/neg system. A very versatile system!
