HogNet® 10/24/12 (also known as) HogBloc 10/24/12
Specifically designed (if properly energized) to deter feral hogs from fields, gardens, lawns and yards. The large amount of strands in a 24" fence increases visibility in brushy locations. Good for areas with high hog pressure. Can also contain domestic pigs.
Can be set up as Pos/Neg (for dry, rocky, sandy or winter soil conditions) or Pos/Pos for (moist conditions).
New to electric fence? Premier’s Starter Kits may be a good choice. They include netting, extra support posts, a solar fence energizer, ground stake and a digital tester.

* Pos/Neg (PN) fences are recommended where the soil is very dry and/or the animals do not ground well. Two clips are used at each end. One is hooked to the energizer, the second should be connected to a ground rod.
Installation
Tip: When using Pos/Neg fencing, a PowerLink (see Accessories above) is recommended to attach the negative lead to the ground rod.
For dry areas install as a Pos/Neg fence. Connect the energizer fence lead to the positive "+" net clip and energizer ground lead to the ground rod. Then connect a PowerLink from the negative "-" net clip to the ground rod.
For moist conditions connect both net clips together and attach energizer fence lead to net clips then attach energizer ground lead to ground rod.
See PDFs and videos above for additional installation instructions.
Precautions
Warning! Due to risk of fire, do NOT use continuous output energizers with electric netting or electro-plastic conductors such as rope, twine or tape. Use only with a low or wide impedance intermittent pulse energizer. (Fi-Shock™ brand energizers which are sold as low impedance, continuous current output should NOT be used with electric netting.) All energizers sold on Premier’s website use an intermittent pulse and are suitable for use with electric netting.
Dry conditions and wintertime usage may reduce the effectiveness of electric fencing. Ice and heavy snow can flatten netting and thereby damage it.
Dry or frozen ground may cause post spikes to bend or break if inserted with force. Pilot holes may be needed. We recommend using drivable or single spike posts in hard soils. Double spike posts provide more stability when the ground is soft.

LOVE this electric net for my pigs. Easy to put up by myself. Easy to step over. When the weather gets hot and dry in summer, I can hook it up as a pos/neg system. A very versatile system!

My husband and I contacted Premier 1 for help with a ferral hog problem. Five years ago we had a real problem with wild hogs coming up from a creek near our home and acreage. They came in large groups and completely tore up our lawn devouring our bermuda grass roots. It literally looked like someone had plowed a wide swath through the lower acre. When we realized the hogs had returned during the early morning last month, and witnessed the damage they did in just 2 to 3 mornings, we were determined to find the best solution to our problem asap. Fortunately for us, we remembered several homesteading videos we had watched where Premier 1 electrical fencing was used for containment of domesticated hogs.
We called the 800# at Premier 1 and spoke with Emily describing our problem. Within 20 minutes, Emily had advised what would most likely resolve our problem, explained how to correctly install the 100 ft. fence and solar powered energizer, and our order was placed. We also spoke with an employee named Anita for further information, and she was extremely helpful as well. Amazingly, our order arrived within 2 days. Upon delivery, we immediately set everything up and it worked perfectly!!! We haven't seen ANY evidence of further destruction by the hogs since.
Dealing with Premier 1 and their helpful staff was an absolute joy. We have no idea how long Emily and Anita have been employed by Premier 1, but they should be commended for a job well done. My advice to anyone considering doing business with Premier 1…please don't hesitate to contact their helpful staff. You won't be sorry you did.

We bought the hog fence set up with solar energizer. From start to finish it has been a great experience and a great product. Ordering was friendly and helpful, product was delivered when they said it would be, and the setup came with easy to follow instructions. Setup was a breeze.

We had purchased similar electric netting in the past and needed additional length to go around a vegetable garden that has always been attractive to the wildlife in our area. The netting was not an exact match to what we had purchased before, but is compatable. The instructions were helpful and connecting it to our existing fence worked well. Now we have a good charge on the entire fence. So far, no critters in the garden but it is only June. The product is high quality and the service was excellent.

I have a serious Javelina problem in my garden and they will invade and eat any edible produce including planted seed potatoes, spinach, carrots, young squash plants and cucumber sprouts. I had unsuccessfully used single and double wire elecric fencing in the past but it is a joke compared to the Premier1 Hognet.
I surrounded my main garden with 10/24/100 hognet and for the first time they were blocked from attacking my plants. I'm sold.
