Horse QuikFence® 4/48/24
Horse QuickFence is a “ready-to-go” roll of netting with the posts already built into the electrifiable, plastic mesh.
Features:
- Quick and simple to install
- Can be used for cattle, llamas and will stop most deer. Visible to horses and other livestock and humans, which makes it very effective
- Use as a portable fence when camping or to create a temporary paddock
Benefits
- No tools or special skills needed to install.
- Plastic verticals provide extra visibility and are also uniquely designed to break if an animal gets its head or leg entangled.
- No extra gates needed. Just turn off the energizer and pull the first post to create an opening.

Installation
Ensure the net is at least 2" away from anything metal (e.g. T-posts, existing wire fences, spikes on support posts, etc.)
See PDFs and videos above for additional installation instructions.
Precautions
Warning! Due to risk of fire, do NOT use continuous output energizers with electric netting or electro-plastic conductors such as rope, twine or tape. Use only with a low or wide impedance intermittent pulse energizer. (Fi-Shock™ brand energizers which are sold as low impedance, continuous current output should NOT be used with electric netting.) All energizers sold on Premier’s website use an intermittent pulse and are suitable for use with electric netting.
Dry conditions and wintertime usage may reduce the effectiveness of electric fencing. Ice and heavy snow can flatten netting and thereby damage it.
Dry or frozen ground may cause posts to bend or break if inserted with force. Pilot holes may be needed when using PrimaPosts™ in hard soil. We recommend using drivable or single spike posts in hard soils. Double spike posts provide more stability when the ground is soft.
Troubleshooting
If possible, separate the fence into sections. Then progressively reconnect, checking voltage as you go. When the voltage drops, you’ve identified the section with the problem. Listen for snapping sounds. This occurs when a conductor is close to a grounded wire, metal objects, fallen branches, or other green vegetation causing a “short”. Shorts cause fence voltage to collapse and allow animals to touch the fence without feeling pain.

I took my 2 horses on a 3 day camping trip. This fence worked incredibly well. It was easy to set up, tear down, and did not take up much room in the trailer. The horses had ample room to move around. Loved it!

Used it camping at an endurance ride last weekend worked great, had to leave one horse in camp due to an injury, he cantered circles when his buddy left, but the fence held him.Shipping was also very fast.

THis is a great product! My children (ages 15 and 17) are, by themselves, able to move our horses to new grass every few days with this great fence! Also, Premier One has very fast shipping!

I love this fence. I have had a perfect time with it. Couple of caveats:
--If you are methodical and follow a regular way of taking it down, keeping the top of the posts clear of the netting, it's possible to keep it from tangling.
--I've had deer try to get through it twice and the first time they broke one vertical netting part. (This because I haven't left the electric on when the horse is not in the fence.)
In general though, it's made my targeted grazing scheme work with ease. My pony respects the fence even when it is not electrified.
Would definitely recommend.

4 stars: I raise mini horses and this fence is the best!
Since horses can level a pasture quickly, this fence can easily be moved and shaped any way you want to accommodate the horses.
Minus 1 star: It can get tangled up and it takes some real patience to untangle, especially for one person. It needs to be energized ALL THE TIME when the horses are out.
