We appreciated this product. It kept the organized and we didn’t have to chase chickens around and collect them later.

My chickens are able to escape the cone.

I bought the medium cone for our meat birds, avg weight 7 lb. The circumference was ok, but it was not long enough. I had to hold the legs to keep them from flopping out. The metal could be a little thicker too, I could see with all the motion of the bird that it would eventually pull out of the anchoring wood. So I won't not recommend it but it probably isn't the best product out there.

I bought the turkey killing cone. Its very well made. However it’s not big enough for homestead raised birds. Our birds were 17 to 19lbs and we could not fit them in the cone. I suggest buying a goose killing cone for bigger turkeys.
