Works great on sheep. I like the leg catcher.

I've had it for a while but hadn't really used it until the past few days where I had to catch ewes that needed lambing help. I sometimes have to rope them because a neck catch isn't possible with a crook and a 200 pound ewe. This leg catch is superb and fast! I couldn't believe how it held the leg without me having to keep tension on the pole and try to grab the ewe with the other hand. Best to catch them with a front leg but it works on a hind leg too.

Although haven't used it yet it seems strong with the fiberglass shaft and came highly recommended by Daniel at Arms Family Farm in OK.

We have 25 head of meat goats that are just done with kidding. This last weekend we vaccinated and trimmed hooves. The Kiwi-hook was very helpful in catching those animals who otherwise always seem just out of reach. I used both ends of this tool and it was very effective and helpful!

Have used the Kiwi Crook several times and love it. Both ends work well. The neck and the leg grabber is so easy to use and I would recommend it to everyone.
