MaxiShock Insulated Cable: PIW2510
Product Details
This 7 strand cable is covered with pliable plastic insulation. Unlike Double Insulated Wire, MaxiShock insulated cable does not require special connectors.
If you intend to use it underground, look to MaxiShock Double Insulated Cable or Double Insulated Wire (DCPIW34).
If you're installing permanent electric fences, use Double Insulated Wire (DCPIW34).

Installation
- Cut the soft wire cable with a knife or heavy duty scissors.
- Strip off 3" of the insulation and wrap it 4 or more times around the wire by hand.
- It can be removed and reinstalled if needed.

As always, a superior product from Premier 1. There is no need to price shop it’s the farm stores because I always know I am getting the best and most compatible products here. Instructions and superior customer service make any minor price difference well worth it. This insulated wire is easy to work with and makes a great connection. I have used both types of insulated wire and I prefer this one because it is easy to put in with the fencing wire when securing the ends with the spirals.

Nice to have continual electrical supply at a bit of distance from the plug-in energizer. The only problem I ran into was that the exposed strands corroded after a while and the wire is hard to strip.
