Product Details
The same proven features as standard PermaNet®, but with braided, not twisted, conductive strands. 48" tall, semi-permanent fence for monthly or infrequent moves.
The “Pro” difference:
- More metal is exposed on the outside of the strand to enable better animal-to-conductor contact
- The tighter, braided weave results in fewer snags when pulled or carried (reduces wear on both the netting and the shepherd carrying the fence)
- Bottom electrified strand can be disconnected in tall grass situations
- Pos/Neg capability when the soil lacks adequate moisture
- Drivable posts—for installing in dry, hard or rocky soils

Benefits
Unlike twisted conductors, the braiding process creates a tighter weave that resists fraying. When PermaNet® Pro is carried or pulled through tall, stemmy grass, the strands don't catch as readily.
No extra gates needed. Just turn off the energizer and pull the first post to create an opening. For added convenience, an ElectroFence® Gate can be used to provide easy access without the need to turn the energizer off.

- Boundary fences for ponds, orchards, gardens, cropland

Precautions
Warning! Due to risk of fire, do NOT use continuous output energizers with electric netting or electro-plastic conductors such as rope, twine or tape. Use only with a low or wide impedance intermittent pulse energizer. (Fi-Shock™ brand energizers which are sold as low impedance, continuous current output should NOT be used with electric netting.) All energizers sold on Premier’s website use an intermittent pulse and are suitable for use with electric netting.
Dry conditions and wintertime usage may reduce the effectiveness of electric fencing. Ice and heavy snow can flatten netting and thereby damage it.
Dry or frozen ground may cause post spikes to bend or break if inserted with force. Pilot holes may be needed. We recommend using drivable or single spike posts in hard soils. Double spike posts provide more stability when the ground is soft.

I recommend the PermaNet to all our clients that get livestock from us. We've had it for years. We keep some up for our pigs at all times and it's been up at least 4 years. Keeps everyone where they are supposed to be from our KuneKune pigs to our cattle, goats, horses and the Great Pyrenees guardian dogs. We can use it to separate pastures, quarantine new animals, keep out predators and stray hunting dogs. Easy to put up and take down in minutes. It's even been through a few hurricanes on our farm. We do have permanent fencing up as well but this stuff is worth keeping on hand.
