Crate works as advertised. Holds around thirty four week old red ranger broilers. Top door is pretty stiff but will probably loosen with time. The one thing I will note is absolutely watch the video while putting together. It doesn’t tell you in the video but when putting the front together the tabs on the side face in towards back of crate. They tell you when doing the back but not the front. Once you snap it in, it’s done and not coming apart.

Quality construction, easy assembly, and easy to stack and store.
Fantastic customer service from Premier 1 staff. They have earned my future business!

The crate is sturdy, stackable, well ventilated and easy to load full grown birds. Watch the video for assembly instructions.

We recently ordered four more of these crates because they work so well for our farm. My only wish was that the top sliding door was easier to open. I seem to either need to manhandle it or have someone open it up for me.

Easy to put together and love that the openings at the bottom are smaller — keeps delicate poultry toes from getting damaged on the way to the processor. Definitely watch the video and pay attention to what piece goes where. It was super easy to assemble. Looking to purchase more crates in the future to replace my other ones.
