Sheep & Goat Net 9/35/7
A prefabricated fence that has 9 horizontal twines (8 conductive); is 35" tall installed, and has string verticals every 7".
White PVC posts are built into the mesh every 13.6 ft. The result, when energized properly, is a nearly impenetrable mesh to sheep, goats, coyotes and dogs.
How does it compare to ElectroNet?
- Has string verticals every 7" instead of plastic struts every 12". String is more prone to sagging but the closer vertical spacing is better for controlling foxes, lambs and goat kids.
- Has 10 times more electrical resistance (380 Ω/1000 ft) so it's less suited for fences more than 1000 ft long.
- Not as easy to handle during removal and installation.
- Yellow color not as visible in light/dark situations as white/black.

Precautions
It is best to have animals trained to electric fencing before you turn them out in the net only. The first time you put the animals in the net, you should be available to watch them for a while. That way if one were to get into the fence and get caught, you can turn the power off and get them loose.
Note: We’re aware that the lower price of this net will encourage folks to choose this version. Think carefully before you do so. Customers who are unhappy with netting are often those who’ve chosen its farmstore/catalog equivalents. So why do we offer it? Because it is similar to nets from other sources—and comparisons make decisions easier.
If unsure, give us a call at 800-282-6631 and ask to speak to consultant. They will help you make the optimal netting choice for your fencing needs.
Use only with a low or wide impedance intermittent pulse energizer. Warning! Do NOT use continuous output energizers with electric netting due to risk of fire. (Fi-Shock™ brand energizers which are sold as low impedance, continuous current output should NOT be used with electric netting.) All energizers sold on Premier's website use an intermittent pulse and are suitable for use with electric netting.
Dry conditions and wintertime usage may reduce the effectiveness of electric fencing.
Dry or frozen ground many cause the NetPost spikes to bend or break if inserted with force. Pilot holes may be needed.

Best idea ever! Very easy to put up, move and take down. We use this for managing areas we want our goats to clean up around the farm.
The only bad thing is that it is so long 164'. Wish they sold this fence in shorter lengths so it wasn't big and bulky to move around. We bought some years ago and they were shorter @ 82' but now this fencing only comes in one length.

This stuff is great. But I have one issue. If you are using this in the woods and moving it frequently, you will curse the day God made sticks. We move ours every few days around the property for our goats. The sticks get caught in the netting and it makes the whole process much worse. I would make the sections between the poles 2 feet shorter. This way you can carry the netting without it dragging on the ground.
If you use a central spot for your power, you can move the netting in 20-30 minutes. If you are moving to an entirely new spot, allow for an hour. Well worth the money!!

Excellent option easily installed. Highly recommend.

Easy setup! Worked well for the pigs. Not so well for goats, they got zapped and jumped it or got tangled in it. Will have to put it inside the 5 ft wire fence to train them. It will be great when we can have moving paddocks so they can clean out brush!

So far I've been really happy with this netting! I've been using it for about 3 weeks to move a group of sheep, goats, and a calf around It's worked great! Easy to set up, easy to move around. I have two rolls connected to each other using a 2 joule solar charger and it stays hot no problem. Some extra support is needed at the corner areas which I expected. Highly recommend and will be purchasing more as our herd grows!
