The "Premier" Fiberglass Crook
- 53" long
- Top is very tough molded plastic
- Holds its original shape and rarely breaks
- Shaft is coated fiberglass. Unlike aluminum, it does not bend or deform
It's the most functional neck crook we've ever used. Given a choice, we always grab this one.

My first one broke after 10 years of heavy use and abuse! I have no complaints with this product. We raise Icelandic's and this crook is light and quick. I've made some "catches" that surprised both me and the sheep! It stood up to 10 years of abuse without complaint.

Only have had this a few weeks but so far so good. Was a little too long for me so we cut it and it came through with a nice clean edge and then added the tip back on the bottom. Took it to to herding trial and it worked fine. Nice weight.

Cracked and splintered in the middle after a few months of normal use. Too flexible as well.

The crook is lightweight and easy to use. Works for lambs but it is too flexible and not useful at all for ewes and rams. Recommend aluminum crook or for durability the wood is best.

Have used this on sheep, goats, and even llamas. Been very happy with these crooks, light weight and strong. Apparently there was a bad batch several years ago and a lot of the poor reviews are based on this batch.
