ElectroStop® Plus 10/42/12 Electric Netting
A portable electric fence designed to contain and control the movement of meat and dairy goats, flighty breeds of sheep or to enclose rams and buck goats. Often used in managed grazing systems or to protect beehives from livestock and bears.
Features 10 horizontal strands (9 conductive), is 42" tall installed and has white plastic vertical struts every 12". For more support in uneven terrain, “Plus” nets include additional line posts spaced every 6'8" (vs. 12.5' for standard 42" ElectroStop®). The result, when properly energized, is a nearly impenetrable mesh to sheep, goats, coyotes and dogs.
New to electric fence? Premier’s Starter Kits may be a good choice. They include netting, extra support posts, a solar fence energizer, ground stake and a digital tester.
Which ElectroStop® is right for you?We offer many fences to fit your situation, including multiple lengths with different post spacings, drivable line posts and positive/negative options for dry soils. Visit this link to compare all ElectroStop options.
Each roll is a complete fence and can be quickly installed in less than 10 minutes. One roll (100 ft) weighs only 15 lbs. You will need a fence energizer to electrify the net.
For small breeds such as Pygmy or Nigerian Dwarf goats use PoultryNet style netting. The tighter spacings are a better deterrent to these species than the wider spaced ElectroStop.

Warning! Due to risk of fire, do NOT use continuous output energizers with electric netting or electro-plastic conductors such as rope, twine or tape. Use only with a low or wide impedance intermittent pulse energizer. (Fi-Shock™ brand energizers which are sold as low impedance, continuous current output should NOT be used with electric netting.) All energizers sold on Premier’s website use an intermittent pulse and are suitable for use with electric netting.
Dry conditions and wintertime usage may reduce the effectiveness of electric fencing. Ice and heavy snow can flatten netting and thereby damage it.
Dry or frozen ground may cause post spikes to bend or break if inserted with force. Pilot holes may be needed. We recommend using drivable or single spike posts in hard soils. Double spike posts provide more stability when the ground is soft.

Overall, I am sure this product is good and that user error is much to blame for us not having success but still disappointed. It took us several hours to set up the first time, of course we are trying to use it in very dry hard clay ground with briars, not a nice open field like in the videos. Hey that's what we want the goats for so seems logical that would be a common use. After getting put up and letting the charger charge(solar-we kind of forgot this step at first and couldn't figure out why it wouldn't give good charge, duh on us, we had to let it charge a full day),still not good charge but again user error in not having ground rod in far enough. So once all set got good charge, female goat still kept going right through. Turns out ground to dry. Tried wetting goat, ground and ground rod. Still not strong enough for her. So gave up and am returning. Now trying the pos/neg-shoulda got this first, but even it has its issues. Also, would not reccommend the double spike for dry ground, extremely difficult to get in, what was I thinking? Live and learn. All this for only two goats too. I would reccommend this for those who know how to make sure its the right product for them.

The fencing does what it is supposed to do. Stay upright, maintain a good charge. This short length is good for rotating grazing in the yard areas more than in the field. Get a longer product for the field.

Use this with our sheep, and meat chickens. 4 x 100' for a PRS 100. 2 x 100' for a PRS 50 Sheep respect it very well after each getting shocked once. No problem with coyotes in the area (knock on wood). Very easy to move and much easier to handle and get tight than the vertical strings. Less sagging with vertical struts means also more forgiving of taller grass (even if flatten it) since fewer live wires touching vegetation. Would not use a shorter fence for hair sheep - I've seen ours almost jump out of panels before.

This fencing is awesome! It is so easy to put up, take down and move around. We currently have two young bucks and a wether fenced with it and move them around to different areas to eat brush. All are completely respectful of the fence and we have no worries about their staying in. We had previously using single spike fence but didn't like the way it sagged. The double spike works great on hillsides and stays put especially corner areas.
