Those familiar with Premier’s history may remember the 800c Clipper. This clipper was manufactured by Aesculap for Premier. We ultimately discontinued this unit because it did not utilize detachable “A5” type blades which are popular in the USA. The Durati Cordless Clipper solves this by combining proven German engineering and standard snap-on blades.
The Econom CL and Bonum clipping and shearing machines are specifically designed for large animals. Large cordless machines have disappointed us in the past, but these units leave a strong impression. Their high shearing speed, excellent torque and ergonomic design make them balanced in hand and easy to use.
Premier is an authorized Aesculap repair center and offers a professional resharpening service for most blades, combs and cutters.
Listed below are recommended optional components or related items. Your particular situation may require alternative recommendations. Please call and talk to our consultants if there are any questions at 800-282-6631.

I really liked these clippers UNTIL they broke. Less than 4 months of use 2 days a week with 5–7 dogs a day the clipper blade driver broke. Thats not too big a deal as I have changed multiple of them on my Andis clippers over the year. The problem is they don’t use a normal clipper driver and the part is not for sale to replace by yourself. Now I have a pair of clippers that I HAVE to ship back to Premier 1 to get fixed, wait for them to fix it and ship it back to me. I started useing my old reliable Andis corded clippers. I will be looking for other cordless clippers who use parts that can be changed out easily.

I’ll be putting the in the closet as a backup emergency set. They cut hair like butter however! I work on mostly small dogs so the noise that these clippers put out can be quite alarming to the little ones. Imagine being a small dog and thinking your groomer is about to cut your hair with a pair of hedge clippers. Just not how I want my pups to feel. Scared to death is not my style. Will definitely be running back to Heiniger as soon as they are back in stock!!!
