A prefabricated fence that has 9 horizontal strands (8 conductive), is 35" tall installed and has large white plastic vertical struts every 12". White PVC posts are built into the mesh every 12.5 ft.
The result, when properly energized, is a nearly impenetrable mesh to sheep, goats, coyotes and dogs. Also used to protect beehives from livestock and bears.
Contrasting white/black color provides 24/7 visibility to both humans and animals against all backgrounds. Its very low electrical resistance (38 ohms per 1000') is important for fences that are either long or will experience high weed contact.

Benefits
No extra gates needed. Just turn off the energizer and pull the first post to create an opening. For added convenience, an ElectroNet® Gate can be used to provide easy access without the need to turn the energizer off.

* Pos/Neg (PN) fences are recommended where the soil is very dry and/or the animals do not ground well. Two clips are used at each end. One is hooked to the energizer, the second should be connected to a ground rod.
Quick Ground is a special use netting developed by Premier. Metal filaments in the bottom horizontal strand serve as the ground rod to complete the electrical circuit. It’s designed for those that move netting very frequently. There is a risk with this design; if vegetation touches both the bottom strand and the first positive strand (only 3" away) an electrical short is likely. We recommend using a larger (in output) energizer.
Installation
Tip: When using Pos/Neg fencing, a PowerLink (see Accessories tab) is recommended to attach the negative lead to the ground rod.

Precautions
Warning! Due to risk of fire, do NOT use continuous output energizers with electric netting or electro-plastic conductors such as rope, twine or tape. Use only with a low or wide impedance intermittent pulse energizer. (Fi-Shock™ brand energizers which are sold as low impedance, continuous current output should NOT be used with electric netting.) All energizers sold on Premier’s website use an intermittent pulse and are suitable for use with electric netting.
Dry conditions and wintertime usage may reduce the effectiveness of electric fencing. Ice and heavy snow can flatten netting and thereby damage it.
Dry or frozen ground may cause post spikes to bend or break if inserted with force. Pilot holes may be needed. We recommend using drivable or single spike posts in hard soils. Double spike posts provide more stability when the ground is soft.

As usual, top quality fencing. I put it up with my other sheep fencing that has a square style mesh, whereas this fence has a rectangular mesh. I like the rectangular mesh, it's a little lighter weight and seems to be less likely to sag in the middle.

For anyone who doesn't have fences, the ElectroNet is a good solution for sheep, especially if you plan to move them regularly. I've made it work for me, and I move them every three days or so. I tried to make do with just two long (164') nets, but it's way easier working with four, because while the sheep are in one square (82x82) I can take those three days to get the second square ready for them, which is especially important since I don't have a dog and my sheep are hard to move (and I keep a feisty ram with the flock). It really helps to mow a path for the fence because if your grass is high the voltage drops quite a bit.
It seems durable. I've been using the netting for three years now and I haven't had to use the repair kit once yet. The double spikes are a little more convenient because you just step them into place, but they're a little bit heavier than the single spike roll. The biggest drawback of the netting is that it so easily gets caught on rough terrain. When you're setting it up the smallest root will snag the strands and hold you up while you go back to untangle. The second biggest drawback is that it gets tangled up easily. You have to be very careful not to twist the roll when you're collecting it, be careful not to catch the netting on the spikes, or in tree branches, or to drape the tope strand over the top of the posts, and you also have to make sure you take your time, and not rush it, which isn't all that easy when the mosquitos are out. But the Premier1 videos are super useful, just watch them and follow their example. The Premier1 people are really helpful too, and when you call you always talk to a real person that really knows the equipment. That's what keeps me coming back. I hope they never change that aspect of their business, because it's so refreshing to call for help and get someone who knows, who cares, and whom you can easily understand. I worry about the pollution factor of the netting though. Premier1 says they should last ten years at least. What happens when they stop working? All that plastic goes where, into a landfill? I hope I can keep mine always useable, because they are quite an investment. I don't use them in the winter, so maybe they'll last longer than ten years.

Got this to make paddocks for my 22 sheep. It is perfect. We made a small pen and let them figure out it bites them if they touch it. Now they stay contained where I want them. So easy to move, too.
