ElectroNet® 9/35/12 Electric Netting
A prefabricated fence that has 9 horizontal strands (8 conductive), is 35" tall installed and has large white plastic vertical struts every 12". White PVC posts are built into the mesh every 12.5 ft.
The result, when properly energized, is a nearly impenetrable mesh to sheep, goats, coyotes and dogs. Also used to protect beehives from livestock and bears.
Contrasting white/black color provides 24/7 visibility to both humans and animals against all backgrounds. Its very low electrical resistance (38 ohms per 1000') is important for fences that are either long or will experience high weed contact.
Which ElectroNet® is right for you?
We offer many fences to fit your situation, including multiple lengths with different post spacings, drivable line posts and positive/negative options for dry soils. Visit this link to compare all ElectroNet options.Benefits
No extra gates needed. Just turn off the energizer and pull the first post to create an opening. For added convenience, an ElectroNet® Gate can be used to provide easy access without the need to turn the energizer off.
Available with positive/negative (Pos/Neg) capability for high resistance fencing conditions.

* Pos/Neg (PN) fences are recommended where the soil is very dry and/or the animals do not ground well. Two clips are used at each end. One is hooked to the energizer, the second should be connected to a ground rod.
Quick Ground is a special use netting developed by Premier. Metal filaments in the bottom horizontal strand serve as the ground rod to complete the electrical circuit. It’s designed for those that move netting very frequently. There is a risk with this design; if vegetation touches both the bottom strand and the first positive strand (only 3" away) an electrical short is likely. We recommend using a larger (in output) energizer.

See PDFs and videos above for additional installation instructions.
Precautions
Warning! Due to risk of fire, do NOT use continuous output energizers with electric netting or electro-plastic conductors such as rope, twine or tape. Use only with a low or wide impedance intermittent pulse energizer. (Fi-Shock™ brand energizers which are sold as low impedance, continuous current output should NOT be used with electric netting.) All energizers sold on Premier’s website use an intermittent pulse and are suitable for use with electric netting.
Dry conditions and wintertime usage may reduce the effectiveness of electric fencing. Ice and heavy snow can flatten netting and thereby damage it.
Dry or frozen ground may cause post spikes to bend or break if inserted with force. Pilot holes may be needed. We recommend using drivable or single spike posts in hard soils. Double spike posts provide more stability when the ground is soft.

I use the netting all over the farm. I can set it up and take it down by myself. I have used this netting for years without problems. (It does require a good charge to be effective.) Any sagging can be fixed with an inexpensive step in. Most of the damage ever inflicted on my mesh fencing has been by me using the weed eater too close to it. I continue to find new needs for this product and will continue to buy it.

We're 3 years into our small flock of Dorpers and this portable electric netting has been indispensable to our movable grazing/weeding program. We initially bought 2 of the 164' nets with double spike (the obvious choice, IMHO), then 6 months later another 2, and just now purchased another 2. Easy and effective temporary pasture fencing - I don't know how we'd operate without it.

We ordered 3 rolls of netting. Very easy to set up. There was one broken wire on one of the rolls but does not seem to be a problem.

The double spike 164ft 9/35/12 has worked really well for me, as I now have 5 rolls. The spikes will bend some in dry times. I use a rubber mallet to hammer the spikes (not the top of post) if it gets extremely dry. The net will sag some but for my sheep it's not a problem. Setup and take down is very easy once you get the hang of it. I have had one animal get entangled and die, which was unfortunate and my fault. In the future I may use the poultry netting (smaller squares) or woven wire cattle panels to separate a sick animal vs this netting side by side with the herd and entanglement being a risk. This netting works great for predatory control as we have coyotes and wild dogs nearby. I'm very pleased with this product and after some experience you'll find there's not another netting on the market that comes close to Premier netting.

We have used eletronet for years for our sheep. No sheep now, but it is an effective barrier for keeping our dogs in. We trained them with the power on when they were puppies. It only took 3 days. We turned off the power and the dogs have respected the fence ever since. We take one fence along when we go rving and set it around our camp site. I don't need to stake the dog or keep them on a leash. Works beautifully.
