Horse QuikFence® 4/48/24
Horse QuickFence is a “ready-to-go” roll of netting with the posts already built into the electrifiable, plastic mesh.
Features:
- Quick and simple to install
- Can be used for cattle, llamas and will stop most deer. Visible to horses and other livestock and humans, which makes it very effective
- Use as a portable fence when camping or to create a temporary paddock
Benefits
- No tools or special skills needed to install.
- Plastic verticals provide extra visibility and are also uniquely designed to break if an animal gets its head or leg entangled.
- No extra gates needed. Just turn off the energizer and pull the first post to create an opening.

Installation
Ensure the net is at least 2" away from anything metal (e.g. T-posts, existing wire fences, spikes on support posts, etc.)
See PDFs and videos above for additional installation instructions.
Precautions
Warning! Due to risk of fire, do NOT use continuous output energizers with electric netting or electro-plastic conductors such as rope, twine or tape. Use only with a low or wide impedance intermittent pulse energizer. (Fi-Shock™ brand energizers which are sold as low impedance, continuous current output should NOT be used with electric netting.) All energizers sold on Premier’s website use an intermittent pulse and are suitable for use with electric netting.
Dry conditions and wintertime usage may reduce the effectiveness of electric fencing. Ice and heavy snow can flatten netting and thereby damage it.
Dry or frozen ground may cause posts to bend or break if inserted with force. Pilot holes may be needed when using PrimaPosts™ in hard soil. We recommend using drivable or single spike posts in hard soils. Double spike posts provide more stability when the ground is soft.
Troubleshooting
If possible, separate the fence into sections. Then progressively reconnect, checking voltage as you go. When the voltage drops, you’ve identified the section with the problem. Listen for snapping sounds. This occurs when a conductor is close to a grounded wire, metal objects, fallen branches, or other green vegetation causing a “short”. Shorts cause fence voltage to collapse and allow animals to touch the fence without feeling pain.

Purchased this for my daughter to use for a rodeo weekend. I just put the unooend box in her trailer. She is just 20 yrs old, but said it was eaiy to set up and it worked beautifully. She used her trailer as on side so had approximately a 16’ by 16’ corral. She used a small battery powered electrifier that made for a very nice set up. Gave it 4 stars only because I didn’t use it.

This fence works very well. Very easy to set up and our horses respect the boundaries.

Great product. Easy to use and arrived quickly.

We have been using the sheep/goat netting for 12+ years and still are using the original ones. We needed some portable fencing for our mules and decided to try the horse netting. I love it! The 100 ft rolls are not too heavy, the double spikes keep the posts in the ground, and it looks great. Only thing to watch is when you are rolling it up, if you are not careful, the netting will drape between the double spikes and get tangled. Pay attention (read the directions!) when rolling up and things will go just fine.

These fences are great! So easy to install and move around for rotational grazing.
