Installation
The same “unroll and then unfold” process applies to all electrified nets. Minimal strength or skill needed (and no tools). Extra supports such as FiberTuff™ step-in posts are useful at corners, curves and ends. You will need a fence energizer to electrify the net.

Ensure the net is at least 2" away from anything metal (e.g. T-posts, existing wire fences, spikes on support posts, etc.)

Precautions
Electric fence is a pain barrier, not a physical barrier. A common mistake is not electrifying it. Animals may escape or become entangled (and may die). On a % basis, entanglement is very rare, but it can and does occur. If animals are scared or starved it will not keep them in. The first time you put the animals in the net, you should be available to watch them for a while. That way if one were to get into the fence and get caught, you can turn the power off and get them loose.

Warning! Due to risk of fire, do NOT use continuous output energizers with electric netting or electro-plastic conductors such as rope, twine or tape. Use only with a low or wide impedance intermittent pulse energizer. (Fi-Shock™ brand energizers which are sold as low impedance, continuous current output should NOT be used with electric netting.) All energizers sold on Premier’s website use an intermittent pulse and are suitable for use with electric netting.

Dry conditions and wintertime usage may reduce the effectiveness of electric fencing. Ice and heavy snow can flatten netting and thereby damage it.

Dry or frozen ground may cause posts to bend or break if inserted with force. Pilot holes may be needed when using PrimaPosts™ in hard soil. We recommend using drivable or single spike posts in hard soils. Double spike posts provide more stability when the ground is soft.

Troubleshooting
If the voltage drops below 3000V on the net, you need to turn off the energizer and unhook the net from the energizer. Test the energizer first. If the voltage is 5000V or higher on the energizer, the problem is in the net.

If possible, separate the fence into sections. Then progressively reconnect, checking voltage as you go. When the voltage drops, you’ve identified the section with the problem. Listen for snapping sounds. This occurs when a conductor is close to a grounded wire, metal objects, fallen branches, or other green vegetation causing a “short”. Shorts cause fence voltage to collapse and allow animals to touch the fence without feeling pain.

Warranty
With proper care, netting should last 5–7 years. Replacements will be prorated.

One of our employees enjoys barrel racing and travels for competitions. She likes to take a roll or two of Horse QuikFence so her horses can have a small paddock attached to the back of their trailer. It’s very easy to set up and it has higher ohms of resistance (less charge flows through) to accommodate more spirited animals.

I've used similar products on other farms. Using this fence to aid in the pasture rotation of our Mini Donkeys has been wonderful. I was able to teach a newbie how to break down and set up this fence in 20 minutes. It's easy to keep tangle free and create a new pasture in no time at all. I rent the land so permanent fencing was not an option. After a few shocks the donkey's respect the fence and haven't escaped since! We are super pleased with it and our new ability to better steward the land.

Great product. Bought the 100’ fence to make a temporary pen while traveling. Easy set up and take down. Does not take up space like most traveling pens. Plenty of room for 2 horses. Recommmend support post for the corners to help keep it tight.

I needed extra pasture,so I bought it and it is working just like they said....easy to put up & take down.Also will be a quick corral when we go trail riding. Love it,works Great !! They got it to me in no time. I move it every couple of days as the pasture is slow growing this year.

Wonderful product! Easy to set up if you follow their directions.

Here's a tip... to store this I found a ski bag was perfect! It fit the fence, and additional corner support posts. I also got the step in battery fence charger and that fit in the bag as well!

I took my 2 horses on a 3 day camping trip. This fence worked incredibly well. It was easy to set up, tear down, and did not take up much room in the trailer. The horses had ample room to move around. Loved it!
