IntelliBraid® Twine PE 2.25
Unique braided 2.25mm dia. polywire preferred by those who unwind and rewind their fences often (e.g. rotational grazing applications.)
- Braided design seldom snags on weeds or twigs
- More flexible than twisted; less likely to kink
- Stronger than twisted, but less elastic

Benefits
2 tinned copper filaments run along the inner core. 4 stainless steel filaments are woven with virgin polyethylene to provide strength to the braid. This allows the copper core to experience less wear and lower the overall resistance of the conductor (50 Ω per 1000 ft).
IntelliBraid® Twine PE 2.25 can be pre-wound onto:
- EzeReel (Spool Only) or EzeReel (Complete)
- EzeReel XL (Spool Only) or EzeReel XL (Complete)
- SupaReel (Spool Only) or SupaReel (Complete)
Same core design as IntelliBraid® Twine PE 3.0 and IntelliBraid® 6.0.

Installation
Properly energized fences last longer and require less maintenance—because animals do not crowd, rub or scratch on them. Confirm voltage is at least 3000V at the end of the fence line. Tree limbs that fall upon the fence must be removed immediately.
Spacing of line posts must be adjusted to terrain. Always put a post at top of hills and bottom of valleys. Vary the spacing of rope strands according to type and size of animal(s), fence usage (boundary vs. subdivision) and the number of strands.
Suggested Strand Height (from ground):
- For Sheep:
- 3-strand fence—35", 24", 12"
- 5-strand fence—36", 27", 20", 13", 7"
- For Cattle:
- 1-strand fence—34"
- 2-strand fence—34", 22"
- 3-strand fence—40", 27", 15"
- For Gardens:
- 2-strand fence—15", 6"
For dry soil and snowy conditions, convert the fence to “positive/negative” by connecting every other strand to a galvanized stake driven into the soil.

This polywire has been great so far. The braided aspect works great. I bought a cheaper twisted version elsewhere and it clearly is lesser quality and the strands separate with any twisting. Braiding is the way to go and this thickness has served well for rotating my cattle. I have a couple reels with a 1320' roll on them each and it is still lightweight enough, but gives lots of spacing options.

I originally bought twisted line (Zareba) from my local farm/hardware supplier, but this braided line is MUCH better! First of, it doesn’t untwist! It holds it’s thickness/strength much better, is far less prone to tangling, reels in and out much better for my rotational grazing setup, and it transmits charge just fine, “splices” easy (just tie a knot). I like it!

Worked great for a project.

I put 2000' of this wire on a Strainrite reel — handy combo, works great for grazing cattle.

Rolls and unrolls smoothly, carries shock well, and seems more visible than turbo wire. It has a nice spring/give to it and seems to be overall more deer freindly. I have this set-up on one side of an alleyway and Gallagher Turbo Wire on the other. We are in the midst of the rut here and deer are getting tangled in the turbo wire almost daily and they have not once been tangled in this.
