The spring to keep the reel locked in place is a bit weak; I will probably need to replace it with a stronger spring. There is also a gap which allows the reel to slide a bit and it pops off the lock. Added a washer to the shaft and it is working great.

Incredible product, easy to use. Works as it should.

We love how easy it is to use this, to move it, and how well it keeps cows out of chicken feeders.

It's not rocket science. Well, almost. It makes life much better.

I’m so happy to have bought these for my operation. I previously was using the Electrostop netting to rotate my sheep but this was getting to be a tiresome job when moving it weekly. So I setup the netting in an unfenced field and will leave it there for a long time.
The reels allow me to easily setup divisions inside my permanent fence and move it frequently without any trouble. I bought the Strainrite Hotposts for my lineposts So the whole system is fast to setup. It took me 10-15 minutes to setup a 600 linear foot square pasture with two sides of that square being my permanent fence—compared to an hour when doing electronet.
The reels unwind smoothly and with no resistance. I definitely recommend following Joe’s advice from the promo video and unrolling them at a “walking” pace as I can see them tangling if you unreeled them rapidly. The hardware seems of good quality and I anticipate many years of use. I bought three reels and I mount them to my woven wire fence using 2 carabiners on each reel. It works well enough for me at the moment. I’m not sure how I feel about Premier’s mounting brackets. I think they might make sense if you have preplanned divisions in your pasture but they are pretty expensive and I’m not keen on drilling lots of holes into my posts.
