Quick Clean Waterer (with legs), 3 gal
- Capacity: 3 gallon
- Size: 13"H, 15" pan diameter and 1.5" pan depth
- Suited for: adults
- Number of birds: 35
- Waterfowl: yes
- Has three legs to stand up and out of the bedding to reduce coiling of water tray. Legs elevate waterer 5".
- Simple design that's easy to clean and refill. To fill remove red lid and add water. Ideally refill with a hose because it's heavy to carry when filled to the top.
- Worked both indoors and outdoors.
How to Use
We suggest periodically dismantling and cleaning the unit to prevent hard water and algae build up from obstructing the float system.
For proper function place waterer on a level surface. If used outside, the lid may blow off in strong winds.

Came shipped with multiple parts that needed assembly. Easy to
Put together by make sure you don't strip the plastic nut onto the plastic male
Locking portion that connects the two together. After a day tighten the nut again as it leaked a little. Once it is assembled just hose it out to clean as needed. Large capacity makes it low maintanence.

Love this waterer because I don't have to carry it full of water and then flip it over. I just hang it in the coop and use the hose to fill it from the top. The top doesn't fit tightly if I remove it while it's hanging, but it fits well enough to keep dirt and bugs out so no big deal. Great idea and the only one like it that I could find. It's not heated, so I'll use my fill and flip heated waterer during winter months.

These waterers are tough! They are very well made and should last for years.

This waterer is well built, easy to clean, easy to carry and the legs are wonderful because the water isn't always full of straw and dirt. I would buy it again. Wish they had a heated version for winter . . . maybe someday.

I would prefer the 5 gallon but it does not qualify for Free shipping. The 3 gallon works just as well but it requires more frequent checking. Therefore I use the smaller one for the inside in which case the legs come in handy. Be sure to check the small valve in the bottom of the bucket to make sure it is completely free of debris as per recommendation from Premier rep. Run a pipe cleaner through it at each cleaning. THese waters are great if kept clean and full.
