The posts need to be taller. If you drive the horizontal piece in the ground, the bottom reel is resting on the ground. I have been driving a regular T post behind this 3 reel post and tying them together for support. Also, my post driver won’t fit over the 3 reel post so I have to drive it with a mallet. Another option that would be nice would be a horizontal 3 reel post so that I could attach it to my ATV and unroll the wire by taking the reels with me. That way I will know when I am about to run out of wire, plus that would allow me to unroll and tension the wire in one operation instead of have to go back to the 3 reel post to tension it, then make another trip to put in the line posts.

Does well even with pigs challenging it.

This post is too short to work for 3 reels. With it driven in so the top of the bottom bracket is at soil surface level, the bottom reel drags on the ground when you wind it. If the post was a few inches longer at the bottom and there was an extra inch between reels, this would be great.
