Super messy! Bought this due to the reviews and the “anti-mess” description. We have lowered it, we have raised it...doesn’t matter the height. If you are looking to purchase this, know your coop floor will be covered with the feed. VERY disappointed.
We also purchased the extensions and they don’t stay clipped together, we had to add short screws to keep them assembled.

Our chickens love this feeder. No mess, no rain gets in, easy to fill, stays clean. I recommend it.

I attached this to a fence post at our pond to use for the waterfowl and the lid blew off into the pond within 2 days so now we have no lid. The lid needs to be a tighter fit or have something to keep it locked in place.

It holds a good amount of feed but double would be better. There's still quite a lot of waste they get out of the feeder. I like it. It's better than using a flat bucket.

For the price, it does not meet my expectations. The clip on piece that covers the open feeding tray is very flimsy. The ends do not stay in the slots. The screws secure it to the body of the feeder, but the ends do not stay in place. I'm using crumbles, and the feed does not fall down into the tray well. It may be fine with a different type of feed. The lid just sets on the feeder and does not secure very well.
