Goat & Sheep Net 9/42/6
A prefabricated fence that has 9 horizontal twines (8 conductive); is 42" tall installed, and has a plastic string vertical every 6".
White PVC posts are built into the mesh every 13.5 ft The result, when energized properly, is a nearly impenetrable mesh to sheep, goats, coyotes and dogs.
How does Goat Net compare to ElectroStop and ElectroStop Plus?
- Weaker posts (smaller in diameter). Posts spaced apart 13.5'.
- Has string verticals instead of plastic struts. So it is more prone to sagging and more likely to tangle and bunch when installing and removing.
- Verticals occur every 6" instead of 12".
- One less energized strand (9 vs 10).
- Electrical resistance (380 ohms/1000 ft) is 10 times higher. Not advised for fences longer than 2 to 3 rolls of netting or fences exposed to heavy weed load.
- Is less expensive.
- Yellow/white instead of white/black.

It is best to have animals trained to electric fencing before you turn them out in the net only. The first time you put the animals in the net, you should be available to watch them for a while. That way if one were to get into the fence and get caught, you can turn the power off and get them loose.
Note: We’re aware that the lower price of this net will encourage folks to choose this version. Think carefully before you do so. Customers who are unhappy with netting are often those who’ve chosen its farmstore/catalog equivalents. So why do we offer it? Because it is similar to nets from other sources—and comparisons make decisions easier.
If unsure, give us a call at 800-282-6631 and ask to speak to consultant. They will help you make the optimal netting choice for your fencing needs.
Use only with a low or wide impedance intermittent pulse energizer. Warning! Do NOT use continuous output energizers with electric netting due to risk of fire. (Fi-Shock™ brand energizers which are sold as low impedance, continuous current output should NOT be used with electric netting.) All energizers sold on Premier's website use an intermittent pulse and are suitable for use with electric netting.
Dry conditions and wintertime usage may reduce the effectiveness of electric fencing.
Dry or frozen ground many cause the NetPost spikes to bend or break if inserted with force. Pilot holes may be needed.

Why did I not purchase this sooner?! I had planned on using the goats to clean up several areas on the farm, which meant a need for temporary fencing. After running myself ragged with standard electric strand and almost giving up I purchased this fencing. It was a complete lifesaver! I probably would've sold the goats if this hadn't worked. They haven't escaped once, and that is major with my very mischievous NDGs!!! I am back to buy another roll.

I've used the chicken nets for several years, but I move my goats every day and the chicken net is a little harder to move (164 ft. double spike).
The goat net is, still 164 ft, but lighter. I also got the single spike for the goats which is easier to move because apparently rocks breed like rats in Missouri! Boulders! I'll still use the chicken nets for chickens, I love it and it works great, but I don't move them every day.

Ordering and shipping was easy as we have come to expect from an online purchase. The product was packaged neat in a way that if you paid attention made it easy and simple to pull it out to its full length. I had cut the grass short where I expected to run the fence and that worked well. I should have cut the grass back far enough to lay it out as well. Pushed the stakes in the ground easy enough. The red clay here can be a challenge. Everything that I wanted the fence to be more of... well simply would have made it cost more. Which is why I gave it 5 stars. I didn't see a way to improve anything that wouldn't have driven up the cost.

Amazing product. Works great to fence off very uneven hillsides or anywhere. Haven’t had issues with it. My goats learned to respect the fence very quickly.

Love this fence!!! Works great! Easy to move and sheep/goats are trained quickly to it. This was our second fence. We ordered our first for our chickens (the shack or not fence for chickens/small chickens). It worked so well we decided to try one for our sheep. We were not disappointed. Both fences went through their first heavy rain/wind storm without sagging or falling over. Awesome fences!!! I would definitely recommend this fence to others.
