IntelliRope® PE 6.0
Excellent low-tension conductor for both permanent and semi-permanent fences. Virgin polyethylene monofilaments are interwoven with 3 tinned copper and 3 stainless steel conductive filaments.
6mm (1/4") diameter is heavier and stronger than IntelliRope® PE 4.5, but also more expensive.
IntelliRope® BLUE PE 6.0 similar to our standard IntelliRope®, with blue filaments to enhance visibility to animals (who can see shades of blue).

Benefits
Well suited for humid climates because mildew does not thrive on polyethylene (PE). But PE filaments are “slick”—it’s difficult to tie a knot in PE rope. Use a RopeLink or Rope Connector for connections.
Can be pre-wound onto an EzeReel XL (Spool Only) or EzeReel XL (Complete).

Installation Tips
Plug-in (AC) energizers are best if the fence is close to a 110V power outlet. Solar energizers may be a good option for fences far away from an outlet. A wide-impedance energizer such as the Kube 4000 is well-suited for most “4-season” fences—a fence that must work when grass stays brown or snow covers the ground.
Spacing of line posts (not more than 35 ft) must be adjusted to terrain. Always put a post at top of hills and bottom of valleys. Vary the spacing of rope strands according to type and size of animal(s), fence usage (boundary vs. subdivision) and the number of strands.
Suggested Strand Height (from ground):
- For Sheep & Goats:
- 3-strand fence—35", 24", 12"
- 5-strand fence—36", 27", 20", 13", 7"
- For Cattle:
- 1-strand fence—34"
- 2-strand fence—34", 22"
- 3-strand fence—40", 27", 15"
- For Horses:
- 2-strand fence—46", 24"
- 5-strand fence—60", 48", 36", 24", 12"
- For Deer Exclusion:
- 2-strand fence—48", 30"
- 5-strand fence—50", 40", 30", 20", 10"
- 3D anti-deer fence—inside: 48", 18"; outside: 34"

Excellent value, easy to install. I have used this, its thinner version, EnduraSoft & the SW tape. My favorite is one line of tape & 2 lines of this below the tape. Have had up for over 6 years with excellent results, very little wear. Easy to tighten! Excellent with SW tape on top for foals, they literally bounced off it with no injuries. We use around a high deer population, love the deer can see it & don't take it down like they do the cheap black/yellow ropes. Highly recommend!

Great product, I use it for cross fencing my paddocks and also for permanent pasture.

Up quick and easy. No experience with the stuff but I fenced off 1.5 acres in just a couple of hours. Has been up for a month and no escapes from a horse, llama and two goats. Works great and the visibility is perfect. The horse always knows it's there.

Use this rope for cross fencing within hi-tensile woven wire for rotation purposes with boer goats and where there is a common fence between where bucks may be; offset 8" from the hi-tensile woven wire. Bucks respect the offset wire, no more fighting between the hi-tensile. In the paddocks, run 2 strands on fiberglas posts attaching each end to a wood post (stays nice & taut); 1st strand ~12". Goats mostly repect the fence, some non-conformist (smaller goats) occasionally shimmy under it to the next paddock; goats eat underneath it so easy to maintain. Would NOT recommend this for a perimeter fence unless you use a 3rd strand, lower. Is installed basically permanently; no problems. Easy to work with, delivers adequate shock and highly visible.

I purchased and installed this fencing in 2009. It was easy to work with and visible in all weather. I just installed another pasture area and perimiter fence this year and I will definitely be doing the same on our TN property! LOVE this fencing system!
