Tips
To check charge level:
- Hold down the button at the bottom of the battery.
- The LED indicator lights…
- No info displayed: exhausted or faulty battery
- Blinking display: battery level is 0–15%; recharge immediately!
- 1 LED lights up (1): battery level is 16–50%
- 2 LEDs light up (1 & 2): battery level is 51–80%
- 3 LEDs light up (1, 2 & 3): battery level > 80 %
During the charging process the LED indicator lamp is continuously red. Once the charging process is complete, the LED indicator changes to green.
Preparing the animal for clipping:
- Remove the dirt from the hair first. If this is not done, expect accelerated blade wear and a reduction in animals clipped between blade sharpenings in exact proportion to the amount of dirt present. The benefits of dirt removal prior to clipping cannot be over-emphasized. Example: Those who wash their lambs prior to clipping often clip 20–30 club lambs between sharpenings. Those who don’t and have lambs with sand and soil in the wool often clip less than two lambs between sharpenings.
- Washing the animal with soap and water removes the most dirt. If this is not practical, use a high power vacuum or blower to remove as much dirt as possible from the hair or wool.
- Restrain the animal. Few animals like the sound of a clipper or the feel of vibration on their skin. When they react to either without warning, accidents can and will happen. Therefore, for the sake of you, your animal and your clipper, restrain the animal properly prior to clipping.
Precautions
Important: Lubricate the clipper head! Insufficient lubrication of the clipper head results in overheating of the clipper blades and clipper. This can lead to a reduced durability of clipper and blades, as well as a reduction of the battery runtime.
Warranty
If spare parts are used during the life of this product, please ensure they are genuine Heiniger parts. Failure to use genuine Heiniger parts may reduce the performance of this product and will void any warranty claim.

I can’t recommend these enough. They are definitely a good investment.
I waited a long time to buy a set of good clippers, and these are better than good, they are awesome! They are so quiet. Loved that it came with 2 batteries and a storage case. They are lightweight and well balanced.
I used them to clip my horses and my goats.
I can honestly say everyone enjoyed the experience, and the best part is no more cord to strangle anybody with!

Absolutely love these clippers! Been using them as body clippers with a #30 blade under metal combs for grooming my standard poodle. They do a good job. My sharpener sets the blade tension on the lower end of the spec, and haven’t had any issues with them. I oil with Premier 1 white clipping oil every 15 minutes.

The best clippers I own to date! Super silent! Most brands don’t even cut through fur on the first level, but these do! The only con I have so far is the blade will get hot faster then my Artero ones but it cuts through fur waaaaaayyyy better, so I will take that win!
