Borotto® SIRIO Humidity Pump
A stable relative humidity during the incubation process is one of the basic elements for ensuring a good hatching rate and the birth of healthy and lively chicks.
The Borotto® Sirio Humidity Pump can meet the humidity control needs of all incubators, whatever the brand, up to a capacity of up to 500 eggs. Set the pump to the desired level of humidity and connect it to a water source such as a 2-liter bottle. It’s that simple!
Instructions/Diagrams:
Benefits
During incubation, embryos need natural sterile water vapor, not mist created by an ultrasonic frequency. The SIRIO automatic humidifier allows water to be introduced into the incubator using natural evaporation, with no input from the operator. All the user needs to do is periodically top off the reservoir.
Often, conventional pumps have limescale problems and become blocked. With the SIRIO, humidity is produced by direct evaporation of the water. As a result, the vapor will not leave limescale deposits on the eggshell.

Really a game changer versus having to be checking your humidity and even worse, having to open your cabinet to fill water. Highly recommended!

I live in a dry climate so this is perfect.
Israel V from Texas
I bought the pump and it flooded my eggs. I put the water on a bucket when I came back my eggs were flooded. The pump never stop pumping the water and it was reading the wrong humidity.
Sara W from Tennessee
The humidity pump flooded the tray several times during my first batch of eggs, and I had to bail water out or turn off the pump before it flooded. I had a better experience and higher hatch rate not using the pump.
Donna V from Virginia
The pump works great and makes incubating even easier. The only drawback is the noise, it sounds like a electric pencil sharpener as it works. Luckily the incubator holds humidity well and it doesnt to run a lot.
