I like it for newborns, but after a few days they become too wiggly to quickly get a weight without taking a minute plus to get an accurate weight. Pair that with goat kids sliding out of the weighing sling and it makes for very frustrating weigh days.

This has made my life so much easier :-) Weighing my goat kids is fun now.

Haven't had a use for it yet, but I like the size and it will come in handy weighing milk and newborn goats!

Snap open battery access makes this one better than the previous version in which tiny philips-head screws on the battery compartment door rusted shut, rendering the scale useless.

We have just started to use this to weigh newborn kids. The sling was not available but we have found that a lightweight cloth grocery bag is working wonderfully for these little guys.
I cannot speak to durability since we just started to use it this past week.
