JS Wood Post Claw Insulator
Product Details
Heavy-duty claw style insulator from Strainrite Fencing Systems fits to wood posts. Internal bracing and thick plastic walls provide strength for high tensile and low tension electric fence use.
Added plastic shield increases overall electrical resistance, ensuring the energizer's pulse travels down the fence line, not the post.

Installation
- Place insulator at desired height on post.
- Hammer in ring shank nail (not included) through hole at the top of insulator, securing it firmly on the post. (May need to pre-drill hole. If preferred, attach with screws instead of nails.)
- Repeat with bottom hole.
- Thread high-tensile (HT) wire, MaxiShock™, tape, braid, twine or rope through insulator.

Well made and stronger than other brands of similar design. I use these to mount standard mesh fencing so it can be electrified with the top wire strand to keep bears out.
