SafeHandle™
Product Details
Insulated, spring loaded gate handles used for entering and exiting temporary gate openings.
- Larger hand grips for a safer hold
- Black handle is most durable. White is most visible against grass
- Internal compression springs instead of expansion springs (prone to stretching)
Can be used with all low-tension conductors except for wide tape.
Instructions/Diagrams:

We like that the rope tie end is big because not all fence line is small. This is something we recently noticed when using some handles from the local shops. My one minor complaint is that they are heavy and you need to have the eyebolt to hook it into. We tend to leave some gates open so it's easy to move the horses back into their pasture, so we can't just hang these on the fence line like we do with the ones from the hardware store. It's not an issue if you always close your gates. We just set up a fiberglass rod with clips to hook these on so the fence line is never on the ground when the gate is open.

Very visible, functional, and long lasting.

In stock, shipped promptly. We use these handles on all corner posts to tension the rope and also gain quick access to an adjoining field.

Sturdy, but I think the hook is far too open. Depends on what you want as another reviewer liked the open hook. Looks like if something hits the fence it could easily bounce out. Missed squeezing some in the vise and was in a remote area, so I used them. I’m hoping a deer does not hit the fence and dislodge. Using with heavy polyrope.

I choose these over any other gate handle, the inner spring is nice, handle is large, most importantly, the hook is not a cheap piece of steel.
